"Drive Thru" (2007) (Movie Review with Spoilers)

“Drive Thru” stars Leighton Meester, Nicholas D’Agosto with Melora Hardin, Larry Joe Campbell, Lola Glaudini, Penn Badgley, Rachel Bella, Shedrack Anderson and Morgan Spurlock. It was written and directed by Shane Kuhn & Brendan Cowles. The movie follows the story of Mackenzie, a 17 year old girl living in Orange County. She begins witnessing a frightening of murder at the hands of an evil clown named Horny. As she turns 18, she becomes aware of the connection between the murderous clown and her family. Mackenzie, now, has to confront all her demons and come face to face with this nightmare. “Drive Thru” is a fun slasher with a modest budget. It holds a very special place in my heart for being one of the very first movies I purchased for my collection, many years ago. It features a young cast, some of whom would go on to lead very successful careers. It is not terrifying, especially in today’s times but it is still an entertaining watch with a kickass soundtrack to back it up.
