"Prey" is a 2022 sci-fi/action film starring Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro, Michelle Thrush, Stormee Kipp, Julian Black Antelope and Bennett Taylor. It was directed by Dan Trachtenberg with screenplay by Patrick Aison and story by Dan Trachtenberg & Patrick Aison. The movie follows the story of Naru, a young girl in the 1700's trying tk prove herself as a hunter to her tribe. Her mission is interrupted when a killer alien appears and starts murdering every human and living being in sight. Naru is then faced with the biggest challenge any hunter could ever face when she has to battle this being that kills for sport. "Prey" is a delightful film that takes us back hundreds of years to a world very different from the one we know now. The Predator is introduced early on and serves as an immediate threat to the protagonist and as an attention grabber for the audience. The adventure theme is one of its strongest components but every other method and execution is well put together, creating a very high quality film of its genre.
