The level crossing is operated from nearby Three Bridges ROC and has to be proven clear along with the High Street Crossing for trains to pass through this signal section. It has two alarms, one of which is fairly old, that are pretty loud despite nearby housing. There is also a side road on one side which rather curiously does not have its own extra set of lights. This was the line's hourly service on the day of filming, roughly half what it would normally be off-peak due to action short of a strike taking place at the time, though these trains did come fairly close together.
