Watch my bus journey from Bengaluru to Tirupati by KSRTC'S Airavat Club Class Scania bus . The bus is scheduled 7:34 AM from Kempegowda Bus Terminal 1 and scheduled to reach Tirupati APSRTC Bus Stand by 12:34 AM . However we departed Majestic by 7:50 AM itself and reached Tirupati by 12:56 PM . The route was via - Kolar , Mulbagal , Chittoor , Tirupati . The frequency of KSRTC Airavat buses on this route is about 1 hour . Every 1 hour you have an Airavat Club Class to Tirupati . There even many private EV buses like Nuego and Fresh Bus on this route . Even APSRTC has good fleet on this route . So there are no shortage of buses to Tirupati . The distance is approximately 250 Kms . I finally wanted a Scania bus to travel because every time i used to book KSRTC a Volvo B11R or a B9R would show up . So hence thought of booking the 7:34 AM bus since i knew this would definitely be a Scania as i have seen in the seat layout on their website . For Scania there would 4 seats at the last with a gap in front whereas for Volvo you have continuous seats in the last . You can even get to know whether its a Volvo or Scania even by checking the number of seats . Scania has 46 seats whereas Volvo has 51 or 47 seats . These were the methods to identify . We pass through beautiful parts of the city such as Indiranagar , Halasuru and the Tin Factory . There was a bit of traffic at Swami Vivekananda Metro Station and Tin Factory as always . However the bus did good speeds and touched 80 to 85 KMPH and maintained an average speed of 75 KMPH . We stopped for breakfast break at Hotel Vishnu Bhavan just 10 minutes after Hoskote . The hotel service was fast and hygienic . The scenic route starts after crossing the AP state Border Toll . After the border toll the roads start with a Yellow Markings giving the journey an international road trip . We reached Tirupati at 12:47 PM and entered the Tirupati Bus Stand at 12:56 PM .
