Watch my bus journey from Bengaluru To Davanagere by KSRTC'S Rajahamsa Excecutive Bus . This bus is scheduled at 7:34 AM from Kempegowda Bus Terminal 1 and scheduled to reach Davanagere Bus Stand by 12:34 PM . The bus fare is 404/- . The distance comes to be at 250 Kms and the route was via - Tumkur , Hiriyur , Chitradurga and then Davanagere . There are many buses towards Davanagere from Bengaluru such as the the KSRTC EV Power Plus , Airavat Club Class , Ashwamedha Classic , Karnataka Sarige , Rajahamsa . However we departed Majestic by 7:38 AM and reached Davanagere Old Bus Stand at 1 PM . There was not much of traffic in the city even though it was a weekday . The bus goes via the Nelamangala Flyover after picking up passengers at Goraguntepalya . The flyover hardly takes 5 to 8 minutes and directly comes down at the Nelamangala Toll . We chased many KSRTC buses on the start itself we overtook Bengaluru to Shivamogga Ashwamedha Classic . However we could even spot the Bengaluru to Bhatkal NWKRTC Sarige bus and Bengaluru to Davanagere Ashwamedha Classic as well . We halted for breakfast at Hotel Shree Rathnam , Dabbaspet . This hotel is one of the famous hotel for KSRTC buses which hat for breakfast , lunch and dinner . All the Pune , Davangere , Mumbai , Shirdi and other buses halt at this hotel for dinner . However the Ashok Leyland engine's roar was a bliss for all the bus fans . We reached Hiriyur at 10:40 AM and it would be dropping the passengers at the bypass itself and would not be entering the hiriyur bus stand . We reached Chitradurga at 11:40 AM and we entered the Chitradurga Bus Stand and also picked up some passengers from there as well . The Bengaluru - Shivamogga Scania overtook us and even the Bengaluru - Davanagere KSRTC Ashwamedha Classic which was doing great speeds also overtook us . However the overall the journey was comfortable and smooth throughout . The fare for walk in passengers till Davanagere is 380/- . The walk in fare from Chitradurga to Davanagere is 80/- which is pretty reasonable .
