Lee Cooper is a truly exciting and creative guitarist who recorded with Howlin' Wolf, Eddie Boyd (most famously on "Third Degree"), Big Bill Broonzy, Jimmy Witherspoon, Harold Burrage and others (help me out guys!) I meant to get to "I'm the Wolf", where there's no solo, but it's just so wicked, but I accidentally left it out during editing. That section as well as a little chat/lesson on how he played his solo in "No Place to Go Alternate take" is on my Patreon page. Cooper changes positions, chords, attitudes, and rhythms in a mercurial way, but taking his solos as a whole you can see patterns and trademarks. He also likes long lines buried in the chords, which he seems to have rubbed off on Louis Myers (he taught both of them often). I don't know much about Lee Cooper-- did anybody out there get to meet or hear him in person? Any pics of him?
