This video came from a recent private guitar lesson about what to play on a BB King-style slow blues. Great question! Come to think about it, I'd love to learn more about the various stellar rhythm players in BB's bands over the decades-- please enlighten me in the comments! I went through my take of something I'd do in the Key of C over a song like It's My Own Fault/How Blue Can You Get from the Live at the Regal era BB. I use some passing diminished chords and a nice simple right hand strumming pattern that'll get you through lots of situations in a classy way, and try to slide up or down into the chords to move the song along.
