The poet asks the listeners to chant the name of the Guru and clean their minds and souls of all evil thoughts and vices. He asks them to put on a Tilak is 'Satnaam' and hail the name of their Satguru! He them asks the ladies of the troop who are already immersed in the happy hour to put on their finest Odhnis for the mesmerising occasion and get ready as they do when their better halves return. He asks them to decorate their Odhnis with the borders of Satnaam and put on a veil of knowledge. Listen this beautiful Bhakti Bhajan in the bold vocals of Kaluram Bamaniya Ji who belongs to a vibrant tradition of singing bhakti poets such as Kabir, Gorakhnath, Bananath and Meera in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. For Kaluram, singing Kabir is not merely a profession, it's a way of life. His impish wit adds color to the direct simplicity and soulfulness of his songs. While continuing to be part of the satsang tradition in Malwa, Kaluram and his troupe give many public performances in the state and the country. The five editions, in 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 were widely chronicled and appreciated.
