Man Mast Hua I Kaluram Bamaniya I Rajasthan Kabir Yatra 2018

(Click on CC for subtitles in Hindi) (भजन के बोल देखने के लिए CC पर क्लिक करें.) This folk song from Malwa is a full-throated cry of joy. Kabir says his heart is so drunk that he cannot speak, there is nothing left to say! ‘I'm drunk on joy, what can I say? I'm full now, what's there to weigh?’ When was the last time we had an experience that left us so full that we did not feel compelled to talk about it, flaunt it or display it anywhere? The mind has become mirthful already, and now there is no need to feel lost or speak unnecessarily. There was a time when our intellect was light and now since it climbed on scale to evaluate itself there is no requirement of measuring it. We have found an incomparable treasure and we should keep it secured instead of opening it again and again. When we have already spotted the beautiful Swan, there is no need to search other puddles. Kabir says that God resides in our hearts and it's futile to look for God in any other external means. Kabir believes that the Almighty is hiding in our hearts, we should always keep that in mind. Performed by Kaluram Bamaniya, who belongs to a vibrant tradition of singing bhakti poets such as Kabir, Gorakhnath, Bananath and Meera in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh in India. He started learning at the early age of 9, by accompanying his father, grandfather, and uncle on the manjiras. When he was 13 years old he ran away from home and went to Rajasthan, where he absorbed a wide repertoire of songs from an itinerant Mirasi singer Ram Niwas Rao for 1-2 years. Vocal & Tambura : Kaluram Bamaniya ________________ Translation- I’m drunk on joy What can I say? You found a gem, tied it in your bundle Why keep opening it for display? My heart is overjoyed There’s nothing more to say The swan bathes in the great mind-lake In puddles and ponds, why do you play? I’m drunk on joy What can I say? Feeling small, you climbed the scale You're full now, what’s there to weigh? My mind is intoxicated What’s left to say? Kabir says, listen seekers, I found God in a piece of grain! My heart is overjoyed There’s nothing more to say -------------------- Connect with us - Subscribe & Click the notification bell:    / rajasthankabiryatra   Website: https://www.rajasthankabiryatra.org Donate to us: http://www.rajasthankabiryatra.org/do...
