Endless Dream by DreamTide (Extreme Demon) | Geometry Dash

Heyo! My original plan for after BoJ was to do Ethereal Artifice as my 13th Extreme and Timor as my 14th, but I eventually realized Timor would be just too hard for me at the skill level I’m currently at. I will still do Timor at some point, but I decided to push it back and make Ethereal Artifice my 14th Extreme. However, I needed a level to fill the hole in slot number #13, and Endless Dream caught my eye, partially due to being made/verified entirely on mobile. And besides, it’s just too good for me to ignore any longer. Remember how, in my Insane/Extreme Ranking video, I said that Night Life was the most satisfying level I’d ever beaten? Well, I’m taking that title right back from it, because THIS is hands-down, bar none, the most satisfying level I’ve EVER beaten. The way this level flows is like something straight out of a dream (get it?), especially the dual. Not only is this entire level unbelievably satisfying, but it’s also incredibly fun; I did not find myself disliking a SINGLE part, which I feel is a very rare trait among my Extreme Demons! The best parts of this level in particular were probably the first drop part and the dual; both of them were not only a blast to learn, but a blast to play as well, which is a combo that I find gets increasingly harder to master as your level gets harder and harder. While the section in between those wasn’t the most enjoyable to learn, putting it together was just as fun. “But Doge,” you might say, “what about the ending? Isn’t that being the hardest part a bad thing?” Technically, yes, but I’m willing to overlook it due to it being more of a stress test than anything. It definitely rewards strong nerve control, but it’s not impossible for players without strong nerve control, and the rest of the level is consistent enough to where you’re likely to make it back somewhat quickly whenever you die there. Plus, I kinda had a financial ”incentive” to die in that part. :) In conclusion, I don’t think I can describe just how much I love this level’s gameplay with words. Play it for yourself and you’ll see exactly why it’s so good. Gameplay: 100/100 The best way I can describe the decoration is “a creation of mine, just on drugs”. There’s a lot of mix-and-match with the default blocks, but somehow, it still manages to look amazing. My favorite part aesthetically is probably the predrop, with its crystalline theme, but the rest of the level still holds its own outside of that part! Decoration: 96/100 At some point, I’m just gonna assume you know how I feel about Creo songs and stop mentioning them in the description. Unless they score higher than 100. Song: 100/100 Most of the clicks in this level have practically perfect sync, and while the decoration doesn’t do as much to sync to the music as the gameplay, it still holds up very, very well. Sync: 100/100 I don’t think I’ve ever seen a level with this style that predates Endless Dream. Some aspects of it are aspects I’ve seen before, but overall, the whole level is very unique in basically every way. Originality: 100/100 Overall: 496/500 (Absolutely Amazing) This level is a masterpiece and I have absolutely no idea how DreamTide is both this good at playing and creating; for a level entirely built and beaten on mobile, they did an EXCEPTIONAL job in every aspect. Please, try this out if you’re around the skill level. It’s a must-play. Difficulty-wise, this is a bit of a step up from Blade of Justice, but still easier than both of my harder Weather Trilogy completions. It’s good where it is in terms of AREDL placement, but with what little progress I have on Infernal Abyss, I’m not super trusting that that’s easier than Endless Dream. If you don’t know what the financial “incentive” was for me dying at the last part, it’s for the cancer treatment fund I mentioned in the last video and in some of my community posts. Wherever my worst death was, I took that, converted it into American dollars, and donated that much. I also added $10 for every repeat fail at my worst death. So that’s how I was able to stay motivated after any far deaths, if you were wondering. It also helps that… well, just read the Gameplay section again. Level: Endless Dream Creator: DreamTide Attempts: 3,087 Farthest Death: 90% In-Game Rating: Extreme Demon Personal Rating: Extreme Demon Place On Personal Extreme List: #3 (Black Blizzard | Endless Dream | Blade of Justice) (Side note: Doradura is now sitting at #10 on my personal hardest list, meaning whatever enters the Top 10 next - almost certainly Ethereal Artifice - will kick Doradura out. My hardest demon at the beginning of 2024 could very well be out of my Top 10 entirely at the end of 2024. How did I get so good so quickly 💀) Cya! - Doge
