All Your Love Magic Sam Part 1 Lesson

Magic Sam was an adonis of Chicago blues, a natural talent on guitar and a strong singer who died way too young. His late 50s recordings had that stinging, prominent guitar and a stripped down band that became the archetype of the West Side Sound. He came to Chicago from Mississippi at 16 (Eddie C. Campbell lived right down the street!) and recorded his classic hit "All Your Love" at the age of 20. It's one of those songs that is so recognizable, it should be played as note to note as you can. I've found and listened carefully to seven recordings by Magic Sam of this tune, and he played it practically as a set piece every time-- did he owe an accurate reproduction of his hit to his fans, or was it a repetitive emotional ritual?
