The exhibition, organised by the Institution in collaboration with Galleria Alberta Pane, entitled Tracks and curated by Stefano Coletto, presents itself as an attempt to reinterpret Spanghero's production through a selection of works and materials, some of which have never been seen before. In the small and refined exhibition space of the Venetian Palazzetto, works belonging to different periods, realised over almost twenty years of research, alternate, combining the analytical reflection on the architecture of the exhibition spaces, the meticulous design research around the materialisation of sound language and, in the installation, the combination of sculpture, audio, video projection and photography. The relationships created by the arrangement of the exhibition in the different rooms bring the public closer to the complex themes that have always characterised the artist's research. Tracks’, a solo show by Michele Spanghero, at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Palazzetto Tito, in Venice. Curated by Stefano Coletto and organized in collaboration with the gallery. Exhibition ‘Tracks’ features sound installations, sculptures, videos, drawings and photographies. Nato a Gorizia nel 1979, considerato tra i migliori artisti della sua generazione nell’ambito delle ricerche sulla sound art, presenta a Venezia la sua prima vera retrospettiva. La mostra, realizzata dall’Istituzione in collaborazione con la Galleria Alberta Pane, dal titolo Tracks e curata da Stefano Coletto, si presenta come un tentativo di rilettura della produzione di Spanghero attraverso una scelta di opere e materiali anche inediti. Nel piccolo e prezioso spazio espositivo del Palazzetto veneziano si alternano opere appartenenti a periodi diversi, realizzate in quasi vent’anni di ricerca, accostando l’analitica riflessione sull’architettura degli spazi espositivi, la meticolosa ricerca progettuale attorno alla materializzazione del linguaggio sonoro e, nell’installazione, la combinazione di sculture, audio, proiezione video e fotografia. Le relazioni create dall’allestimento della mostra nelle rispettive stanze avvicinano il pubblico ai complessi temi che caratterizzano da sempre la ricerca dell’artista.
