Gran Turismo 7 - The Human Comedy - Deep Forest Raceway - Race Strategy Guide - UPDATED 1.52

Welcome to my guide for winning The Human Comedy Deep Forest Raceway Race on Gran Turismo 7. THIS RACE WAS COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY THIS RACE WAS RECORDED ON UPDATE 1.42 As new game updates come out I will make a note in the description if any changes are required to the car setup or strategy. UPDATE 1.50: No changes required UPDATE 1.49 Tyre wear has changed from X10 to X7 Car setup changes required: ECU Output Adjustment: 96 Ballast - 35 Power Restrictor - 96 No strategy changes required. This is a 1 hour endurance race around Deep Forest Raceway featuring Professionally tuned road or race cars. PP Limit is 620. Racing Hard and Racing Medium Tyres available. Fuel is X2 and Tyres are X10 Race Strategy - Start the race on Racing Hard Tyres, pit with 40 minutes left in the race for new racing hard tyres only, DO NOT REFUEL. Pit again with 20 minutes left for new Racing Hard Tyres and about 50% fuel. DO NOT save fuel during the race. Refuelling takes a long time in this race so we don’t want to be in the pits any longer than we have to. Car Choice for this race: McLaren 650S Gr.4 Car feels good to drive, my previous guide has the exact same car and similar car setup. The car feels better to drive compared to the last time I drove it with this setup. It does understeer a little bit overall feels stable and you shouldn’t have any issues with driving it. Follow the Car Setup exactly how it is on my screen, make you double check you have all the settings exactly the same as mine. This race is all about tyre management and staying consistent with your lap times, you don’t need to overly push the car but aim to do consistent 1.35.5 lap times or better, this will almost guarantee you the win. This could take some practice but it’s definitely possible to do. Don’t worry about the Porsche Taycan blasting past you, it will do 3 pit stops during the race to recharge, they’re also using Racing Medium Tyres so they will be faster than you out of the corners, however the AI are a little bit slow through the twisty mountain section (Sector 2) of the track and you should take advantage of this. Items I bought for the car from the Tuning Shop: Racing Hard Tyres Ballast Power Restrictor My Brake Balance was set at 2 for this race. All of my settings are personal preference and not required, everyone’s driving style is different and some settings that work for me may not work for you. If my settings aren’t working for you, try different settings, play around with the Brake Balance until you find a setting that works from you. Make sure to do some practice with this race and car combination, you can brake a lot later for corners and most corners around this circuit you don’t even need to brake. Overall the setup is designed for control and cornering so we do lack a little bit of straight line speed compared to the AI but we more than make up for it through the corners. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me in comments below.
