We started our journey from Florida all the way to Saint Martin/ Sint Maarten. It's been almost 3 months since we left the home port in Florida. Everything we did and saw was brand new experience to us. It's time to put Mirtillo on dry storage- again, our first time experience. We decided to haul out Mirtillo at Bobby's Marina in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten. Everything went smoothly thanks to their cooperation and professionalism- very happy about that. We dropped off the mail sail and Code Zero to Tropical Sail Loft in Simpson Bay. Main sail, Code Zero, and Genova got damaged during the 74-hr-journey from Turks and Caicos to San Juan, Puerto Rico. We got the main fixed in San Juan, but it had other wear and tear so we need to fix them all before the next season. Again, professional service and we are pleased with their service. Since I left my career in December 2022, I experienced so much. I did not what to expect after leaving my job, got over certain phobias (such as sailing in darkness) and grew more courageous. I didn't see that at the beginning, but what do I expect, it's been a long journey! We went from Florida, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, Culebra, USVI, BVI, to Saint Martin/ Sint Maarten. I am so grateful for the experience of life time- full of great memories. I look forward to the next season! I hope you enjoyed the first series of Sailing Mirtillo. Check out the playlist!
