In Dhoom 3, Aamir Khan played a professional circus artist. While many other actors would have settled for just getting ripped and letting the body-doubles take care of the rest, Aamir proved once again that he deserves his incredible success, spending two years training with David Poznic for his role. Our training included weight lifting, acrobatics, running, parkour, swimming, juggling, and unicycling. Even our exercises in the gym were always based on the way professional acrobats train: rather than traditional gym exercises, we focused heavily on increasing stability challenges, intense core workouts, and dynamic movements that helped Aamir build the kind of strength, speed, and agility that would allow him to look, feel, and move like a professional acrobat. The Aamir Khan songs in Dhoom 3 are, not surprisingly, an explosion of raw energy and power.
