Cassius Winston - NBA G League Bubble Highlights (2021)

Cassius Winston was selected 53rd overall in the 2020 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was traded to the Washington Wizards where he signed a two-way contract. Winston was sent to play on the NBA G League bubble conducted in Orlando, Florida from February 10-March 11, 2021. He finished the 15-game season with the Erie BayHawks averaging 12.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.1 steals while shooting 43.0/36.4/83.3. He led the team in minutes (30.3 MPG) and second in +/- (4.7) indicating that he gave positive impact to the team. Erie BayHawks finished the season tied with the second best record (11-4). They lost in the first round of single-elimination playoff against the Lakeland Magic, the eventual champ of NBA G-League bubble. Against the Magic, Winston scored 9 points on 3/10 shooting (all from 3's) with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
