Someone asked me in the comments during my previous interaction with Bret Iwan if I met Bill Farmer, who has lent his voice to Goofy since 1987, and while I don't take requests for virtual sessions for obvious reasons, it got me thinking that it'd be interesting to know what stories Farmer has to regale me with so I decided to consider meeting him. My bad hair day continued into that Sunday so I, once again, donned my favorite Sorcerer's Apprentice hat from a trip to Disney World in Orlando to mask it. Thankfully, it kind of looked better when I met with Team Avatar and Ariel the day before. 😅 We mostly talked about the weather in California and Connecticut respectively, how Christmas treated them, and that they enjoy how modern Disney cartoons like The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse are keeping them busy. Farmer's sample of Goofy's voice isn't heard until the end of this video, but if you close your eyes while he is talking, it's simple to visualize it coming from Goofy because it's part of his natural voice.
