We take you to Pitlochry and the first stop is Faskally Woods, a lovely location for a walk in the woods. It is a wooded area in the historic county of Perthshire, Scotland. It is is well known for its radiant colours during the autumn. Next stop is the Dunfallandy Stone , a 1,400 year-old Pictish cross slab that stands on a low hill just across the River Tummel from Pitlochry. Unlike the touristy town, this stone receives few visitors but its carvings are some of the finest to survive from Pictish times, including wild animals, figures of angels , a horseman, tools, serpents, biblical figures, monsters and other traditional Pictish symbols. The 1.5 metre-high stone is housed in a glass and stone shelter, which protects it from the elements.
