New Ryko SoftGloss Maxx 5 with Premier Dryers at Kenedy Car Wash in Kenedy TX

Today I'm up at the Kenedy Car Wash in Kenedy TX off along US-181, that houses a fairly new Ryko SoftGloss Maxx 5 paired up with Premier dryers. This car wash has been built at the very start of the 2020s (kind of bad timing if you ask me) and at one time this used to have a Washworld Profile Max, but that somehow didn't last very long in service, as later this year, the system got replaced by this Ryko SoftGloss Maxx 5, but the owner decided to keep the original Premier dryers from the Profile to save money. In retrospect, I really don't know why they opted to replace the Profile very early in its service life, as I feel like it can be a much better system than this Maxx 5 in terms of wash cycles and cleaning effectiveness (and they're also not super aggressive systems in their soft touch cycles), but it could be possible that it was replaced because maintenance (or maintenance costs) was just too high for the owner, whatever the reason, they decided to put this Maxx 5 in its place. I did buy the top dollar wash for this video which came out to $14 (about the average for in bay washes by today's standards) and wash quality I would give this a 8/10, the undercarriage wash did decent (I love how the Washworld Power Tower wheel blasters were reused) but it for some it cut off very fast before I fully made it into the wash bay (which may indicate an issue with the sensor), the tri-foam coverage was amazing (arguably the best coating from one of these systems), the soft touch cycle did go well, and like many of these Ryko SoftGloss systems a bit on the aggressive side and did shake the entire vehicle around (though it wasn't as bad with this system compared to the older SoftGloss models), but all 4 brushes and the top brush did profile the vehicle pretty well for the most part, the post soft touch rinse was good complete with the rotating nozzles and the wheel blasters, the color wave feature didn't do very good as it looks like barely any chemicals were applied (I don't know whether or not it's a programming issue, or if they were out of those chemicals for some reason), the rinse cycle from the same application to wash it off worked as normal (though since nothing was applied, it didn't need to wash off anything), the surface protection and spot free rinse passes were also good, and the Premier dryers actually did a very good job in drying off the vehicle, they're nice and powerful, quite a nice changeup from the usual Slimline dryers that these usually come with. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video and stay tuned for more to come.
