We started from Satsar Lake, aiming to reach the stunning Gangbal Lake. The day began with a 1.5 km boulder ascent, but the weather was incredibly poor, with heavy fog limiting visibility. Despite the tough conditions, I enjoyed the boulders, though I had some breathing issues later on. After the climb, we stopped at a tea shop, and after a 2 km walk, we reached the highest peak of KGL. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the views due to the fog. The descent, however, was smooth and flat, which we loved. We had lunch at a beautiful spot before finally reaching Gangbal Lake—a sight that’s impossible to describe in words. It’s simply magical. Our campsite was right next to Gangbal Lake, and in the evening, we explored the area, had fun, and relaxed. You can even go fishing at this lake!
