Welcome to my guide to winning the Weekly Challenge Races for August Week 5 2024 on Gran Turismo 7. All THE RACES WERE COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY In this video I show you every race in this week’s Weekly Challenge for August Week 5 2024. I will show you my car setups, strategies and any notes I have for each race. Rewards for this week are: 1 event: Credit Ticket: Cr: 100,000 3 events: Credit Ticket: Cr: 200,000 5 events: 6-Star Roulette Ticket Rewards are shown at the end of the video. Pickup Truck Race: Willow Springs International Raceway Big Willow Car Choice: Ford F-150 SVT Raptor ‘11 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Bore Up High Lift Camshaft Weight Reduction: Stage 1 Weight Reduction: Stage 2 Comfort Hard Tyres Strategy: No strategy required. European Clubman Cup 600: Suzuka Circuit Car Choice: Aston Martin DP-100 VGT Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Ballast Power Restrictor Sports Hard Tyres My Brake Balance is set to -2, this is personal preference and not required. Startegy: No strategy required. NOTE: This is a very difficult race and it might take you a few attempts to win or at least come third. Keep practising the race and you will eventually beat it. Special Event: Eiger Nordwand Reverse This is a one make race featuring the Alpine A110 ‘17 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Weight Reduction: Stage 1 Racing Soft Tyres Strategy: No strategy required. Historic Sports Car Masters: Nurburgring Nordschleife Car Choice: Porsche 959 ‘87 This car can be purchased from ‘Legends Cars” however it is not always available. Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Power Restrictor Sports Medium Tyres Strategy: No strategy required. NOTE: This race has a chance of rain but I don’t think you need to worry about using wet tyres. World Touring Car 800: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP Layout Car Choice: Lexus RC F GT500 ‘16 Items purchased in the Tuning Shop: Racing Hard Tyres Power Restrictor My Brake Balance is set to -2, this is personal preference and not required. Strategy: Stat the race on Racing Hard Tyres, change the fuel to level 3 and keep it there the entire race. You will not need to make a pit stop for this race. NOTE: Tyres will be very worn by the end of the race so if you want to pit to change tyres make sure you don’t refuel.
