Today’s sensations were quite unique: I played almost in darkness, just like I did 20 years ago. I don’t know how it feels for others, but for me, there’s an entirely different energy in the dark. I have to admit, I think there will be more sessions in this setting. Today, for the first time, I also felt my fingers playing on their own, moving without my conscious control. I was just an observer. This is a discovery for me, as until now, I’ve always worked on improving my playing through controlling each note and sound exactly as I wanted it to be.
