Solo Wild Camping at Margery Stones

I set of from the Langsett Reservoir and made my way up a well defined track to the high peak. I originally intended to visit both Margery Stones and Bull Stones. When I arrived at Margery Stones I got caught in a heavy shower without my waterproofs. Being soaked and cold I decided to pitch my tent and get warm and dry. The sun came out in the middle of the afternoon and so I took the opportunity to dry my clothes. I used my new Trangia Alcohol Stove. The winds were gusting at 45 MPH according to the mountain weather information service and I was really impressed with how well my tent stood up. In the morning on the way back to car the gusts nearly blew me over a couple of times. I had a great camp and I am looking forward to my next adventure. Thanks for watching, Paul.
