Solo wild camp in the Peak District

I originally intended to go for a three day two night wild camp in the Peak District. The route was intended to stay on the tops. When I got up to Alport Castles I quickly realised there was no water high up to replenish with. I sat and had a beer and considered my options. I think if I had continued on with my plan I would have been able to find some. However, I chose to go into the valley and spend a night there and return home the next day. My view is the mountains will always be there and its not worth taking silly risks. The video became a bit of a run down of my kit in place of any stunning views. I enjoyed sitting in the stream and cooling of, despite the toe nail incident....The next morning I was met with masses of midges and warm rain, so I skipped breakfast and down tooled. The Ferns were shoulder high, I cannot remember ever seeing them so high. Despite all I had a great camp and I'm already planning my next one. I hope you enjoy the video,, Paul. thanks
