The Italian organist Sr. Cecilia Pia Manelli presents us from Bethlehem the most popular Italian Christmas carol, "Tu scendi dalle stelle" ("You come down from the stars"), written by St. Alfonso Maria de ’Liguori in 1754 and proposed here in the organ version by the composer Bruno Belli (“Preludio e Fuga su "Tu scendi dalle stelle"). This piece was part of the concert played by Sr. Cecilia within the Terra Sancta Organ Festival 2021, broadcast in live streaming without an audience from the Church of St. Catherine at the Basilica of the Nativity (next to the grotto where Jesus was born), on October 15, 2021.
