In this video series, I’m capturing the city-building process in Cities Skylines, recorded in a time-lapse format with no cuts. I'm playing in "semi-vanilla" mode, using only a few essential mods and assets to enhance the gameplay experience. Day 4 Progress: This episode was all about restructuring. After revisiting the traffic flow of my city and studying some urbanism, mobility concepts, and online tips, I decided to redesign the city’s layout into superblocks. The goal was to reduce the number of intersections, which are a major source of congestion in the game. I also restructured several highway connections, improving the main highway’s on-ramps and exits to increase traffic flow and prepare for future expansion, as the city's population grows.
