In this video series, I’m capturing the city-building process in Cities Skylines, recorded in a time-lapse format with no cuts. I'm playing in "semi-vanilla" mode, using only a few essential mods and assets to enhance the gameplay experience. Day 5 Progress: The star of this episode is the bulldozer. After reviewing the traffic flow in my city and diving into urbanism concepts, mobility ideas, and some online tips, I decided to completely redesign the city layout into superblocks. The goal was to reduce the number of intersections, which are the main sources of congestion in the game. I also restructured several highway connections, adjusting the on-ramps and exits of the main highway to improve traffic flow and prepare for future congestion as the city grows.
