The Hebrew Bible has three sections: the Law, Prophets, and Writings. The Law contains the first five books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The Prophets is made up of eight books divided into the Former Prophets, which are the books of Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Kings and the Latter Prophets, which are the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the Twelve Minor Prophets. The Writings consists of religious poetry and wisdom literature, such as Psalms, Proverbs, and Job, and the books of Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, and Chronicles. So, in the Hebrew Bible, 1 and 2 Chronicles are the final books in the Writings section. In this video, I will go over the major themes of 1 and 2 Chronicles.
