Hey guys in this video we go to the 50th anniversary of the Feast Of The Hunters Moon in Lafayette Indiana. The Feast Of The Hunters Moon is a recreation of the gathering of French and Native Americans at Fort Ouaitenon, a 1700's fort located on the banks of the Wabash River. The Feast is a place for food, fun, games, songs, trades, and dance. There are things from Tomahawk throwing, traders selling authentic reproductions of crafts and food from the era. This is an amazing feast for your senses, the wood smoke, the food, the clothing is as accurate as possible. We will see things like musicians, rabbit stew, French Military drills and drum corps., canoes of the French Voyageurs, authentic shelters, and so much more. The Feast of the Hunters Moon is a two day event taking place from Sept. 30th-Oct. 1st. Over the two days you get to partake in a lot of things and buy so much more, like leather craft, hides, reproduction clothing, food, and various other odds and ends. The Feast takes place in West Lafayette Indiana, at the rebuilt Fort Ouiatenon on the banks of the Wabash and is a great place to take your kids and whole family.
