Accessibility In Employment Processes: End User Perspectives

Live Broadcast Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2021 Speaker(s): Alwar Pillai, CEO, Fable and Samuel Proulx, Accessibility Evangelist, Fable Fable, the Global Initiative of Inclusive Information Communication Technologies (G3ict), and the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), a division of G3ict, are hosting a forum on the state of accessibility of digital tools and platforms used in the workplace. This forum will feature general discussion on accessibility across the key stages of the employment cycle, the accessibility of digital platforms and tools, and the experiences of Fable’s community of assistive technology experts. An end user perspective on the impact and implications of inaccessible tools and platforms in the workplace will drive the discussion. The goal of the forum is to highlight for employers, insights collected from people with disabilities on accessibility barriers in the workplace. Forum participants will also have the opportunity to engage in built-in polling to provide additional input on important areas of interest to support future research in the field.
