A rock / funk guitar cover of "Take Over" from Persona 5 Royal. Warning - contains guitar shredding and too many notes. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is a pretty simple song in terms of P5(R) soundtrack and as such, mine is also a pretty simple arrangement. I think this is the closest I got to the original in one of my covers. I tried to make it sound super thick with wall to wall guitars and I omitted the brass punch ins, because while a big part of the song - I don't think they sound very good in the original. I wasn't even going to attempt at getting them to sound better in my cover :D I've had a lot of this recorded for weeks, but then I lost some of my motivation to finish it. I couldn't come up with an ending solo for the longest time, I also had to stop playing guitar because I flat out injured myself with the first batch of solos :D The break in the middle is my favourite part. It started out as neo-soul funky guitar in the background and then I added the pads and went full on wall of sound with it. I hope you enjoy the cover!
