Rocking cover of "Mementos - Lower Layer" from Persona 5 Royal ---------------------------------------------------------------- I've wanted to cover the original Mementos as a joke for a while, but since this new version came out, I just couldn't resist giving it a good, honest try. I think it came out to be quite a banger :D The instrumentation is a little bit simpler than usual, but I thought that keeping it that way for the most part gives you a better effect when the "hit" happens. I think this made the chorus that much more powerful. Once I had the guitars done for the verse, I didn't really have any other good idea on how to fill the space appropriately and I thought that leaving that space there was the best solution. At some point I did write the solo in the "interlude" and then started layering awesome rhythm parts. Then the rhythm parts somehow took over the solo and I ended up liking them better :) Yes, I did include Scarified in this.
