Witnessing his father's struggle with insomnia—a condition that affects millions—sparked an interest that led Raajvir to build Somnia, a sleep aid app. Now, Somnia helps over 600 insomniacs sleep better. This is just one example of how technology can help tackle real-world issues. His journey into tech innovation for social impact deepened through participating in and hosting multiple hackathons. He believes hackathons aren't just about coding under pressure; they're powerful workshops that mould us into adept problem solvers ready to tackle the world's pressing issues and shape a more sustainable future. As a high schooler and entrepreneur, Raajvir has a fervent passion for creating innovative projects and engaging in business and technology competitions. Taking his enthusiasm a step further, he assumed the role of lead organizer for TISBHacks (The International School Bangalore’s annual hackathon) in both 2023 and 2024, establishing it as one of India’s premier student-led hackathons. In his talk, Raajvir will delve into sparking innovation among youth through forums such as hackathons.
