Why do we wait until someone has died to reflect upon, write and say thank you for helping us to become the person we have become? I wrote "The Letter" when Mum was dying of cancer: “10 Great Things I Learned From You!” What if you wrote “The Letter” to that special mentor, relative, coach, teacher, boss or friend who made a difference in your life, who helped you become the person you are? Why? A letter is permanent, heartfelt, validating, unique and powerful; moreover they get to hear it while they are still alive. The palest ink is better than the strongest memory. Yes it’s old school, but guess what? No one does it...I’ve written dozens of letters like this to every person who made a difference in my life. “When I’m old I’ll write those letters, to the teachers that believed in me, So they will know they made a difference in all I do and see.” President of Sparking Success.
