We will need: 450 grams (15.9 oz) frozen cherries 3-5 tablespoons cane sugar 2 tablespoons cornstarch- almond flavor (a few drops) 250 grams (8.8 oz) puff pastry Mix 1 yolk with 1 teaspoon of milk (optional for greasing the roll) powdered sugar for decoration Cooking method: 1. Defrost the cherries, place them in a sieve, and drain the juice. 2. Heat cherries, sugar, starch in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for a couple of minutes.3. Remove from heat, cool, add flavoring. 4. Cut the dough into strips, leaving space in the middle. 5. Place the cooled filling on the dough and form into a roll. 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 25-35 minutes. 7. Sprinkle the cooled roll with powdered sugar. The roll turned out very tasty, but in some places the filling leaked out of it. It has become very soft and does not hold its shape well. The roll cannot be picked up. I didn't really like it. The filling is very tasty, with a rich taste, but it is better to wrap it completely in dough, form a roll and make small cuts on top.
