He had come over to cook and while we were waiting he said "Go get your guitar, lets write a song!" I laughed, but he was serious. After Jeremy had been sitting on the chorus for a few months, here we were at my dinning room table teasing out a song that quickly made me want to cry. We fought over the verses (of course) for about an hour before we landed on wanting to just sing those phrases that will always feel weak, but genuine prayers of returning to our First Love again.
