Mahogany back, sides and neck with select Spruce top. Rosewood bridge and fingerboard. Blackened peghead veneer has pearloid Epiphone logo inlaid at top. Pearl "cloud-like" inlay at center of peghead. Bone nut. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid single trapezoidal inlays. Top has 4-ply antiqued cream/black bindings. Back has single cream binding. Period correct Kluson 3-on-a-plate tuners with cream buttons. Tortoise pickguard with "E-brand" sticker. Rosewood bridge has adjustable ceramic saddle. This is a hot guitar, the sound is really great. It is actually not a coincidence that at the moment we have a true authentic 1964 Epiphone FT-79 Texan hanging on our wall immediately next to this excellent re-issue... These two guitars are actually very close! I am not kidding... I know that the authentic old one has 56-57 year old woods, but I mean the tones are very similar - just separated by age of the guitar... Comes with Hard Case & Specialized Epiphone Gig Bag. There are also various pamphlets, certificates, labels with Paul McCartney's signature, that comes with this fine collectible piece.
