Rosewood back and sides with a Spruce top and a "C" profile Mahogany neck. The Rosewood peghead overlay features the "Martin & Co." decal at the top. Nickel Martin tuners with Nickel buttons. Diamond volute and bone nut. The Rosewood fingerboard features graduated pearl dot inlays, with side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. Full "C" profile neck is very comfortable. Player marks along the entirety of the neck, but they are very slight marks that aren't very noticeable while playing. Nickel strap button installed. Original heelcap is missing. The Spruce top has a fair share of dings and scratches, with a center crack repair and crack reapirs on both sides of the lower bout. Binding also looks to have been reglued on the bass side. Rosewood bridge has white bridge pins with abalone dots. Black plastic pickguard and standard "style 28" soundhole rosette. Five lines of black and white alternating purfling before the binding on the top edge. Rosewood back and sides have similar dings and other player marks as the top. Looks to be a previous crack repair along the wooden marquetry backstrip. This is a great example of a standard Martin D-28. This guitar sounds a good deal better than many standard D-28's. Comes with a Martin blue molded hard case.
