Where are the handstands in the Grind-Style Calisthenics Program? All other calisthenics workout programs use handstands so what's the deal? Handstands are a great exercise, but they are too technically demanding for many people to use them effectively enough to build muscle. Not that you can't build muscle with them, you certainly can. But when they are more of a technical challenge than a muscle capacity challenge, they aren't ideal for building muscle. Besides, it's not like you have to use them to build your shoulders. All pushing and pulling moves are great shoulder builders to boot!
