Don't worry! We've both been there. Although we do both regularly advise that you should try and find families who have had au pairs before, there are certainly positives and negatives to either situation! For one thing, if you're the first au pair - you can dictate what's "normal" a little more than if your family already has an au pair rulebook. But, what do you think? Were you a FIRST au pair?
