Dr. Sarah Weihmann is an expert in nuclear waste disposal, and she provides a fascinating account of current and future initiatives to store and isolate dangerous nuclear materials. Sarah Weihmann is a PostDoc researcher in geoscience at RWTH Aachen, passionate about investigating the role of the subsurface in the ongoing energy transition and teaching the next generation of energy experts. Trained as a petroleum geologist, experienced in the nuclear repository industry and excited about renewable energies, you will find her tying nearly everything back to the importance of rocks and reservoirs.
