In this video, Tobias talks about what equipment he will be using this hunting season as he hunts wild boar at night. Tobias is using his new "Savage 110 High Country" in caliber 7 PRC. The 7 PRC is a caliber that Hornady launched in 2023, and it is completely new to the European market this year. The scope mounted on the hunting rifle is a Trijicon AccuPoint 3-18x50. This sight is battery-free and instead uses a fiber optic and tritium capsule to illuminate the reticle. The wide zoom range also makes the scope suitable for a variety of hunting forms. The suppressor is a Stalon XE. The XE suppressor is slightly longer than Stalon's standard X108. This makes it better suited for the 7 PRC caliber, which has a bit more powder in its casing. Tobias is using a Nitehog Viper 50 Next front-mounted thermal camera. The advantages of this are that it is small and handy, and that hunting can be conducted with Trijicon scopes during the day, making it easy to continue with thermal assistance when night falls.
