It is currently being operated with 22923/22924 train numbers on tri-weekly basis. The trains are completely 3-tier AC sleeper trains designed by Indian Railways with features of LED screen display to show information about stations, train speed etc. and will have announcement system as well, Vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, Bio toilets in compartments as well as CCTV cameras. The 22923/Bandra Terminus - Jamnagar Humsafar Express has an average speed of 55 km/hr, and covers 812 km in 14 hrs 40 mins. The 22924/Jamnagar - Bandra Terminus Humsafar Express has an average speed of 57 km/hr, and covers 812 km in 14 hrs 20 mins. Both trains are hauled by a Vadodara Electric Loco Shed-based WAP-4E, WAP-5, or WAP-7 locomotive up to Ahmedabad Junction. After Ahmedabad Junction, both trains are hauled by a Vatva Diesel Loco Shed-based WDM-3A or WDM-3D locomotive up to Jamnagar and back. It is located in the Western Railways zone of Rajkot Division. Jamnagar railway station is connected to various parts of India by long-distance trains. Hapa is another railway station located on the eastern outskirts of Jamnagar. It was the fourth cleanest railway station of India according to the latest "Swachh Rail, Swachh Bharat" survey in 2016. Jamnagar railway station was owned by Jamnagar & Dwarka Railway during Princely rule. The Rajkot–Jamnagar line was opened by 1897 and the Jamnagar–Okha section was opened in 1922 by Jamnagar & Dwaraka Railway. Jamnagar & Dwarka Railway was merged into Saurashtra Railway in April 1948. Saurashtra Railway was merged into Western Railway on 5 November 1951. Gauge conversion of Viramgam–Hapa section were completed by 1980 and on the Hapa–Okha section by 1984 by Indian Railways. It has seven daily trains and many weekly trains to various parts of India. A total of 48 trains halt at Jamnagar railway station in both directions. Jamnagar railway station has an ATM run by the State Bank of India. It has numerous stalls selling packed foods, flavoured milk, ice creams and other hot snacks. It also has a dormitory for passengers looking to stay overnight. There is an air conditioned waiting room for passengers with 3AC or higher tickets. It has an escalator in PF No.1 to facilitate movement of personnel and luggages. Work for second foot overbridge is in progress. Mumbai Bandra Terminus (station code: BDTS) also known as Vandre Terminus (in Marathi)is a railway terminus in Bandra from where trains bound for Northern India and Western India are scheduled regularly. It was built in the 1990s to decongest the main Mumbai Central station. It is one of the five railway terminus within Greater Mumbai. The other four terminals are – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai Central, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Dadar. It is close to Bandra Kurla Complex, a commercially important part of Mumbai as well as Mumbai Airport.
