When I spotted this camera with its original box at an estate sale store in Fremont, Nebraska, I nearly gasped. I hadn't seen this camera before, and it looked pretty much brand new. I gasped again when I saw the price - $12.50! And I gasped a third time when I realized how much the batteries cost at Walgreen's! $35 for two! I should have waited and ordered from Amazon. Although this camera was in top notch condition, years of storage had led to a buildup of thick, sticky residue on the black front cover, but it wouldn't stand a chance against some rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs. The Canon Sure Shot Classic 120 was released in 1999. In Japan it was called the Autoboy 120, and in Europe it was called the Prima Super 120.
