Starter Motor & Battery Removal on a R1200GSA/R1250GSA: DETAILED Step-by-Step Instructions

This is a detailed step-by-step video instruction on removing the battery and starter motor on a 2016 (and adjacent years) BMW R1200GS and R1250GS Adventure motorcycle. The process will be similar for the R1200GS (non-adventure version) with the slight exception of some body panel/fairing removal. We show every step in the process including every body panel, cable and screw/bolt removal. If you plan to change your battery or starter motor this video is for you! Also, if you plan on flushing and bleeding your clutch line you will need to remove the starter motor to access the clutch slave (release) cylinder bleeder screw.
