Established in 1816, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is Australia's oldest botanic garden and oldest living scientific institution.  Situated across 30 hectares on the edge of the Sydney Harbour, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is home to a collection of more than 27,000 plants from around the world. We begin our Sydney walk on Tarpeian Lawn where we get a beautiful view of the Sydney Harbour, Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. We head South through the shady trees and toward an art installation called “Memory is Creation without End.” From here we continue walking through the gardens, through The Vista Pavilion and Lawn 52. We pass by Twin Ponds and Fig Tree Lawn where we will view beautiful lush green scenery and several ponds. We keep walking for a while until we reach The Sydney Fernery. After a quick lap through the Fernery, we make our way back outside, passing by the Lewis Wolfe Levy Fountain on our way to Woolloomooloo Gate. We exit the park briefly, walking along Art Gallery Road and past Terrace on the Domain restaurant. At the restaurant we make a right turn, heading back into the park, where we pass by statues and a striking city view.
