As a change from the usual Hotel reviews, here's a no-talking video walkthrough of Inverness Terrace Serviced Apartments by Concept Apartments, in Inverness Terrace, London W2, UK. Double room was approx £110 per night. QUICK REVIEW: As mentioned in the video walkthrough, this is confusing due to it being sold as a self-serviced apartment but it's just a small-ish hotel-like room with en-suite. Could be a case for it being mis-sold on this basis? All basic necessities such as towels, wifi & amenities included, along with an iron, sink, microwave, mini-cooker, cutlery and we especially liked the balcony. Unfortunately the rooms appear to not be soundproofed, you can hear chatter and footsteps from adjoining rooms especially from the ones above, also Inverness Terrace seems to be a fairly busy street throughout the night and the balcony door isn't soundproofed either, so earplugs are definitely needed. The bathroom also had slight mould spots but didn't seem too serious, just in need of a proper clean. Its all just too noisy for a comfortable night's sleep without earplugs and this isn't really an 'apartment' as described. Despite a few nice aspects it cannot be recommended. 2 Stars.
