3 Things I LOVE and absolutely HATE about living in CYPRUS

Visiting Cyprus, moving, or eventually planning on living in Cyprus? In this video I will let you in on 3 things you may LOVE and HATE when it comes to life in CYPRUS.. Ever since I moved to Cyprus I was quickly confronted with.a few nice perks of this island. Those include some positives, as well as some things I didn't get used to: 1. I love the opening hours for groceries, and the deliveries. You can do grocery shopping from Monday to Sunday and the best part is the fact that Saturday's aren't even too busy. Also, if you want to be convenient you can order in for a budget in Cyprus. Even late at night, you still have delivery available and don't pay more than 1-2€ roughly. What I hate are some of the little differences in Cyprus as opposed to other EU countries. One of them are the US power plugs, another one is the driving on the left lane even though it's easy to get used to that. 2. I love the people in Cyprus..they have been welcoming and supportive whenever I had a question. All you need is to open up and get involved with them and you will connect. What I absolutely HATE is the fact that there are literally NO HALLWAYS in Cypriot apartments. You basically enter the door and you are right in the living area, there is no entry area, so it feels a little bit odd unless you live in a calm neighborhood. I always like to have some space between me and the people walking by outside lol. 3. Bureaucracy: This third point is an aspect that can be both, positive and negative. I personally love the fact that you are a bit more free in terms of admin and mail. In Cyprus it feels that authorities have a different sense of urgency, they need the crucial documents but they don't bother you like crazy. As long as authorities get their money and paperwork done, they are happy and don't remind you 3 three times by sending a ton of mail or threaten you. It's easier, less complicated. On the flip side, things can take much longer if you need to get things done by the authorities/or certain other organizations. Sometimes you need reminders, or need to be after them because otherwise it might take a few days longer..or even weeks. Anyway, my net benefit is definitely bigger as for the bureaucracy in Cyprus and I can much rather focus on my work and do the paperwork on the side. Is admin work annoying to you or are you cool with it, even enjoy it?? Comment below! --------------------- More content on Living in Cyprus? Or moving abroad/to Cyprus?
