We were sad to go, but more adventure was awaiting us in Turks and Caicos. We moved from South East Point in Mayaguana, the Bahamas to South Side Marina in Turks and Caicos. We had to go through shallow water way to get to the marina and the only way to make it was for us to arrive during high tide. Due to confused water and going against the wind, we were about 2.5 hrs behind the schedule. By the time we got there, we missed the extra depth we needed. We had a decision to make- either to wait till the next morning or take a chance. We decided to take a chance. Luckily we made it. After arrival formalities were completed, we went out to stretch our legs...., but it did not take long before a kind person offered us a ride. There was no proper side walk so it was not exactly safe to walk there so we took the offer. On the way back, the same thing happened. We were so grateful for their kindness. Enjoy!
