They trianed with the Mendes Brothers at Art of JIu Jitsu and recently started training at Atos with Andre Galvao. They are known for their fast style and rapid improvement in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Because I did not know the names of most of the opponents they faced I will not be including them in the show notes. Mahamed Aly Highlights Mahamed Aly Santos da Silva is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Lloyd Irvin. He is an IBJJF World Champion for Gi and No-Gi. Born in Brazil, he was named after the legendary boxer "Muhammad Ali". He is associated with Team Lloyd Irvin. He is known for his aggressive style with exceptional speed and agility (especially for someone of his size). In this video you see a variety of submissions executed along with several executions of the Harai-Goshi (Judo Throw) and some other takedowns. Nick Rodriguez Highlight Nicky Rodriguez "The Black Belt Slayer" was able to attain 2nd place in ADCC as a blue belt after training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for only 16 months. This earned him his purple belt. He started wrestling at the age of 12 and fell in love with it. His wrestling background shows in his competitions. He first started training jiu jitsu with Ricardo Almeida and from there he was introduced to the Renzo Gracie Academy. He says he trains jiu jitsu 5 times a week, wrestles twice a week, and lifts weights 7 days a week. All of his hard work seems to be paying off as he shows rapid progression. He also says that he is working on closing up any holes in his game. For example, although in competitions we haven't seen him play much of the guard, in training he is pulling guard to learn that part of Jiu Jitsu as well. In this video, you will see him show off his takedowns, cartwheel guard passing, back takes, and even some submissions.
